Nurses March - Washington, DC
The United "Million" Nurses March took place Thursday, May 12, 2022, to help spread awareness to the hardships faced by nurses throughout the healthcare system. The event will assemble at 8:00 AM EST with the march beginning at 9:00 AM EST. The march will start at the White House (1600 Pennsylvania) and will end at Audi Field in Washington, DC.

Nurseify aims to ensure the racial equality and safeguard of nurses are always at the forefront of the conversation when it comes to improving our healthcare system.
Nurseify believes in allowing nurses to set their hourly wages and not receive a cap on their salary.
Nurses have stood on the frontlines to battle the pandemic and help those around their community, so on May 12, Nurseify will stand alongside nurses and show our support to reform the healthcare system.
Continued increase in acuity and the rise in staffing shortages contributes to a decrease in quality of patient care.
The support of our Black and Brown nurses specifically African- American nurses is needed. They have historically experienced bias and racism from patients and colleagues.
As a profession the nursing industry has not financially aligned with the service it provides.
The Pennsylvania General Assembly is attempting to pass an amendment to the Health Care Facilities Act and place a cap on travel nursing rates across their state.
The bill states, “A temporary health care services agency may not bill or receive payments from a health care facility at a rate higher than 150% of the sum of the average rate, plus a factor to incorporate payroll taxes, for the health care facility’s location as determined...”.
This bill may open the doors for a national cap to be created on one of the hardest working professions our world has seen. Nurseify will unite with nurses to ensure they are not oppressed by any entity/organization in any state. Together,
